Meet the Actors
Supporting Actors
WARREN GARVER: Warren Garver is a theatre major at Parkland College, and is providing a few additional voices for Tabloids, and wishes that he wasn't so darn busy. He recently quit a job at Dominos Pizza for reasons that seemed really good at the time.
JACE JAMISON: Jace Jamison is a full time Theatre Major at Parkland College. He was premiered wonderfully, hazmatteroffact, as a hazmat worker. It was good fun hanging with friends and trying different voices and such. He's quite fond of character acting and looks forward to working more extensively in voice acting. Other interests include bread and film. He owns over 400 movies.
S. JANJAY KNOWLDEN: S. Janjay Knowlden, who voices Lloyd Flemings, is a Champaign, IL native and is currently in the BFA Acting Studio program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He most recently played Jim Allison in Krannert Center for Performing Arts' production of Not About Nightingales. It was super fun for him to provide the voice of Lloyd Flemings. In one fell swoop, Janjay got to play a false paraplegic, a cartoon character, and a total jerk. Janjay also sings baritone/bass, loves movies, and is Black.
JONATHON NEUMANN: Jonathon Neumann, who voices Tugg Strapp, is studying Communications and Theater as well as Biblical and Theological Studies at Wheaton College near Chicago. He loves creating projects with people and exploring the possibilities of art. Thus, Tabloids and the wonderful people of it have been part of his journey as he voices Tugg and occasionally is involved in the writing process.
STEFANIE SENIOR: Stefanie Senior, who voices Stefanie Stevens, is a full-time theatre artist (Jack-of-all-trades, master of some) poised to graduate in May with a degree in theatre management from Illinois State University. While she and her character share a name, it is yet unclear whether they share many of the same personality quirks (short, perhaps, of the ability to craft insults). Stefanie (the actor) has absolutely loved working on this show, having previously worked with its creators in a show of her own, and is thrilled to be involved in a work created by such talented and passionate artists. Besides acting, Stefanie also enjoys exploring the wide world of sound design as well as making columns of numbers to add up, engaging in discussions about actors' pay rates, creating marketing materials, developing plans for a potential theatre company, and other sorts of arts-administration-related wizardry. She is also a big fan of cooking and eating delicious food, drinking copious amounts of coffee, bourbon, or craft beer, and all-purpose shenanigans.
